Guido Abbate California

The Guido Abbate shipyard has a centuries-old history as it was founded back in 1873. Its boats, in addition to always being very fast and winning countless speed races (for example the famous Centomiglia del Lario), stand out for their extraordinary elegance.
The California model is one of the shipyard's most successful during the Sixties.
This example, launched in 1959, is in very good general condition thanks to the countless interventions carried out by the current owner including:
- 2006 renovation of the covered deck
- 2011 new transom
- 2015 sandblasting and painting
- 2017 new interiors and upholstery
- 2021 new cockpit sidewalls
The Dearborn Interceptor engine was completely redone in 2000 and the carburettors replaced in 2023.
Runabout used in fresh water in Swedish lake only during the summer periods and stored indoors during the winter.
