Bertram Yacht 28' Sf

The Bertram 28 Sportfisherman shares the same deep-V hull used on its twin in the Flybridge version, differing in the smaller deckhouse to offer a wider cockpit suitable for sport fishing.
This version was produced in 2280 units from 1971 to 1983 and there were no substantial changes in the various series.
The strength of this boat is the design of the hull that allows high performance even in bad weather conditions; a rather rare feature on fly boats of this small size.
This boat, produced in 1972, is in perfect general condition as it has undergone careful and obsessive refitting intervention.
Starting from the hull, the yacht has been completely redone like new.
Work began in 2024 and several improvements have been made to the original project:
- new dinette entrance door
- new aft platform
- new transom door
- new electrical panel
- Cockpit floor on one level without steps
- new cockpit dunnage lockers
- new engine compartment bodies
- new engine room spars for housing new engines
- new bow dolphin
- fly resin coating with superstructure deckhouse
- new stainless steel pulpits and handrails
- bilge gelcoat painting
- hydraulic steering coupling bar
- new electrical system in watertight boxes
- cleaning of the fiberglass tank
- new internal wheelhouse (optional at the time)
- new bathroom shower with water collection tub
The original Mercury engines have been replaced with 2 new Yanmar Diesels of 250 HP each (0 hours).
Boat ready at the buoy to sail.
