Racer “Saffa” Renato Molinari
Saffa is a catamaran built by the famous Renato Molinari shipyard in 1979 for powerboat racing in the R3 category. At the time, the special marine plywood hull was designed for the rough waters of the Seine during the prestigious “24 Hours of Rouen” race.
The triumphant victory was due not only to the team of drivers (Molinari, Vassena, Panzeri), but also to the powerful FIAT 131 Abarth engine installed on board.
The boat is in good condition, always stored inside and in her original state. The hull retains the livery of the period (SAFFA racing sponsor) and is equipped with the original tank, instruments and stern drive.
The catamaran is equipped with its FIAT 131 Abarth engine to be overhauled and with its cradle.
Boat with important pedigree and a real milestone in racing powerboats.
