Riva Super Ariston

The Ariston is the most famous of the runabouts designed by Ing. Riva, as well as the longest-lived model in wooden production. This rare example in the 1970 Super version belongs to the third series, characterized by the latest evolution of the hull, which appears more streamlined and with a new dihedral designed for smoother navigation on the water.
The boat is in excellent general condition thanks to the various works carried out:
- 1988 restoration of all wooden parts and painting cycle, replacement of the bottom
- 1989 total overhaul of engines at 0 hours, cylinder grinding, new pistons and piston rings, carburetor kit, overhaul of engine instrumentation
- 2010 replacement of upholstery and cushions, keel repair and inspection, bottom inspection
- 2016 varnishing 22 coats of paint, partial chrome plating and polishing of all chrome parts, capote replacement
The boat is equipped with an original Riva Crusader 320 HP engine (correct matching number with the hull) which has been completely overhauled. Since the overhaul, it has clocked up 190 hours, exclusively in fresh water.
The boat, commissioned for a well-known figure in the world of shipping, has had only 3 owners.
