Riva Rudy

The Riva Rudy was introduced in 1972 to replace the Junior and Olympic models. Like its predecessors, this new model also belongs to the Utility/Open category, making it an extremely versatile vessel suitable both as a tender and as a boat for water sports (water skiing, fishing).
Designed by architect Barilani to be made of fiberglass, it nevertheless retains some mahogany details, such as the side handrails and the storage shelf behind the pilot seat, giving the boat a more elegant look.
Its main characteristic is the deep walk-around cockpit, which can be navigated in complete safety, an aspect that is particularly appreciated by families.
The model in question is number 1 and was therefore built using a mold made entirely of wood.
The boat is in mint condition as it has been completely restored and meticulously maintained by its current owner.
During the restoration, the following work was carried out:
- new deck
- new bottom
- new transom
- new deck hardware
- reconditioned engine instrumentation
- hull resin coating with West Epoxy System
The engine and reverse gear have been dismantled and completely overhauled.
In addition, a new Edelbrock carburetor has been purchased.
This boat is unique in the world, for true enthusiasts of the brand, and has been used exclusively in fresh water since its restoration.
The boat is equipped with a double-axle trailer.
