Cigarette 36 Wide Body

Cigarette has always been synonymous with the best offshore boats in the world. In fact, the American shipyard is a leader in the construction of the fastest yachts for their size, as well as the best in terms of performance in all sea conditions. The hull of the Cigarette 36 Wide Body is derived from the famous hull of the multi-winning 32’ “Cary the Cigarette”, also designed by Don Aronow and built by Cary Marine in Miami. This world champion boat changed its name in the 1970s to “Black Tornado”.
The model in question, launched in 1973 and previously owned by a well-known Italian industrialist, underwent a total refit in 2023/24, taking inspiration from the livery of the “Black Tornado”.
During the refit, the following work was carried out:
- replacement of new cockpit awning
- new cushions
- new electrical system
- fuel tank filled with anti-explosion foam and sponges inside to prevent fuel sloshing
- new hydraulic racing steering system
- new flaps
- new fuel drains
- new fuel pumps
- fuel plan overhauled
- bilges repainted
- new bilge pumps
- new steel engine air intakes
- electric engine locker
- valve for cleaning engines with fresh water
The BPM engines and inverters have been removed, completely overhauled (heads, valves, gaskets, etc.) and reset to 0 hours.
The racing stern drives have been overhauled.
All work can be documented with photos and invoices.
Boat ready to cruise, one of a kind and in perfect general condition.
