Riva Super Ariston

The Ariston is the most famous of the motorboats designed by Ing. Riva as well as the longest-lived model in wood production. This rare example in the 1970 Super version belongs to the third series characterized by the latest evolution of the hull which appears more slender and with a new dihedral designed for smoother navigation on the water.
The boat is in excellent general condition thanks to the various works carried out:
- 1988 restoration of all wooden parts and painting cycle, replacement of the bottom
- 1989 total engine overhaul at 0 hours, rectification of cylinders, pistons and new ring kits, carburetor kit, engine instrumentation overhaul
- 2010 replacement of upholstery and cushions, replacement of side/hull edge, keel repair and check, bottom check
- 2016 sanded down to wood, 22-coat painting cycle, partial chrome plating and polishing of all chrome parts, replacement of soft top and joker
The boat is equipped with the original Riva Crusader 320 HP engine (correct matching-number with the hull) totally overhauled. After the overhaul, to date, it marks 190 hours done exclusively in fresh water.
The boat, commissioned for a well-known figure in the world of merchant shipping, has had only 3 owners.
More information available on request.

The cockpit is characterized by a double row of seats, a liftable pilot seat for stand-up driving, and a folding bow seat backrest to form a large sundeck. Upholstery and cushions in cream and lobster colours with removable sundeck on the bonnet.
