Cigarette R.t. 36 Wide Body

Cigarette has always been synonymous with the best off-shore boats in the world. In fact, the American shipyard is a leader in the construction of yachts that are the fastest in terms of size and the best in terms of performance in any marine condition. The hull of the Cigarette 36 Wide Body derives from the famous hull of the multi-victorious 32-foot "Cary the Cigarette" also designed by Don Aronow himself and built by the Cary Marine shipyard in Miami. This world championship boat changed its name in the seventies to become "Black Tornado".
The model in question, launched in 1973 and previously owned by a well-known Italian industrialist, underwent a total refit in 2023/24 taking its cue from the livery of the "Black Tornado".
During the refit, the following works were carried out:
- replacement of new cockpit awning
- new cushions
- new electrical system
- fuel tank filled with anti-explosion foam and with sponges inside to prevent fuel shaking
- new racing hydraulic steering system
- new flaps
- new petrol drains
- new petrol pumps
- overhauled fuel line
- repainted bilges
- new bilge pumps
- new steel engine air intakes
- electric motor tailgate
- valve for rinsing engines with fresh water
The BPM engines and inverters have been landed, totally overhauled (heads, valves, gaskets, etc.) and brought to 0 hours.
The racing stern drives have been overhauled.
All work can be documented with photos and invoices.
Boat ready to the buoy, unique in its kind and in perfect general condition.
