Bertram 38

The Bertram 38 was designed by Ray Hunt in 1962 together with the legendary Bertram 31, and three series were produced (the first from 1962 to 1968, the second from 1969 to 1976, and the third from 1977 to 1987).
This very prestigious boat is characterized by her power and speed thanks to the design of her deep V-shaped hull.
This boat, launched in 1982, is in good condition thanks to the refit carried out by the last owner to preserve the originality of the design. Many works have been carried out, including:
- new generator
- new electrical system (220V line and 12V line with inverter)
- new stainless steel swimming ladder
- new PVC fender bar
- new flybridge and cockpit bimini top
- new battery charger
- hull sanded
- new LED lights
- new batteries
- fuel tank cleaned in 2024
- aluminium window frames repainted every two years
The engines have been replaced with two 450 hp Cummins engines.

Disposition of interiors

The stern platform leads to the spacious cockpit, which is equipped for both sportfishing and outdoor dinette thanks to the two sofas, one located on the transom and the other behind the deckhouse window.

Inside, the dinette consists of a sofa on the left with a table and chairs, while the kitchen unit is located along the opposite side.

Continuing towards the bow, the wheelhouse is on the left and access to the lower deck is on the right.

In the lower deck there is a small corridor that leads to a cabin with bunk beds on the left, a toilet on the right, and the master cabin with V-shaped beds towards the bow
