Riva 59 Mercurius Super
The Riva 59 Mercurius represents one of the most elegant open motoryacht produced on the market at the beginning of the 2000s. The profile appears very sober and is distinguished by the roll bar that is harmoniously integrated into the windscreen. Another characteristic, she is the elaborate design of the sides with the typical teardrop-shaped light inlets that flood with light the refined interiors below deck. This is the first model produced under the management of the Ferretti Group, and considerable attention has been paid by the Officina Italiana Design studio to project harmonious shapes that are synonymous with elegance.
The model in question is the last hull of the Super version, built in 2004 and has already the hull of the successor model Vertigo. The boat is in an impeccable condition thanks to the dedication of the current owner who, in the last years, has always kept her in a maniacal manner as a true Riva enthusiast. Many improvements have recently been made including:
gelcoat painting of the hull in metallic brown;
painting and knurling of the deck with anti-slip;
cockpit in massive teak 12mm;
new external cushions;
two canopies (one for summer and one for winter) for the bimini-top;
new plexiglass skylight on deck;
overhauled and varnished the hydraulic gangway;
new dashboard panels and new gauges;
spray painting of cockpit furniture;
batteries replaced in 2021.
Inside there is an entertainment system with satellite TV antenna; the ceilings have been redone as well as the upholstery. Finally, the wooden flooring of the corridor in the dinette has been restored.
